Document the processing of creating/editing your Wix website contact form, justifying your thought process and decision making

Customer service it is an important aspect in E-commerce, which has a significant impact on customers  recommendations and reviews. In general the ability of encouraging the public to use a business product and remain loyal to it consists in  building a trust relationship between business and customers. Proving that customers needs matter, in particular for new customers is essential therefore each online store must have a Contact Page where customers can raise enquiries, clarifications and ask questions which in general can not be found in the website content (Chambers, 2022).

The Contact Page had become almost a standardized element into a website which includes in general phone number, email address, however it can vary in terms of store address if a physical location is available, social media contacts, FAQ section if not included in website content. 

For a better perspective regarding the Contact Page of my project, I analysed two similar business websites to help me gain a better view. In the first example, the store, has chosen a basic contact page where information's related to store address, phone number, and business registration number are provided. 


The second example displays a more detailed and rich feature contact page. It includes the above mentioned information's however, opening times had been added and quick call and directions buttons implemented which I believe are a great asset for customer experience. Further more map gadget had been implemented which offer a map projection of the physical store. The contact page that I will create will follow the second example and will contain features similar with those highlighted with yellow squares.



Customer experience it is in general determined by customers comfort and trust. To create a comfortable and familiar environment for the contact page I will include the general elements and format that are present in majority of the website however, personal experience helped me understand that people are different. In addition to the elements mentioned previously, my projects contact page will include an option to submit a quick enquiry or feedback without the need of phone calls or email submission. 



The above screenshots are the result from my project. I am confident that the contact page includes all information's required to contact the business. The layout and design aims to be simple, facilitating customer navigation. The sections of the page had been separated to avoid confusion and a business logo had been implemented to recreate a warm and familiar feeling for the customers.It includes four options to contact the business : by email, by phone, by quick message or in person. I am confident that the contact page together with the live chat function of the website will provide a superior customer service and will make the customers feel welcomed and listened.
